Permanent Full Time Production Operatives – Whitchurch


Grade /Rate of Pay:        Grade A – Start rate £8.10 per hour with opportunity to progress to Grade E – £11.10 per hour with structured                                                           career development and training plan

Hours of Work:                Monday to Friday:           Week 1 – 6am to 4pm:    Week 2 – 4pm to 2am                                                                                                                          Working over 4 day week (one day rota’d off each week)

Due to production requirements we have exciting opportunities for a number of Production Operatives to join the team on a permanent basis.


The successful candidates will need to be able to operate within a challenging but rewarding factory environment that is physically demanding and can entail repetitive tasks.  You should possess a can do attitude, be willing to work and enjoy being part of a team. In this role, you will responsible for the efficient operation of any task performed in the production areas, working within specified production, presentation, housekeeping and hygiene standards as directed by the Shift Supervisor / Manager to ensure effective and safe packing of cheese.

You will be an effective team member ensuring that all of the line operation is working to full capacity and helping minimise the waste of raw materials and packaging. You will also observe and understand the company policies and procedures relating to sickness absence, holidays, timekeeping, breaks, housekeeping, safety and hygiene.


For this role, good verbal, written and numerical skills are essential, in addition to having the capability to adhere to strict standards of quality and accuracy and to systems and procedures is a must, alongside working in a methodical, systematic and precise manner. Computer experience is also a requirement for this role.
